Some of my very first street photography images I made. These were shot well before I knew what street photography was or was really into photography at all. I went to Google’s HQ in NYC to pick up one of the first 10,000 pairs of Google Glass and went walking around NYC after taking photos.
It’s so difficult to get people to use a new social platform. Everyone already forgot how fast we dropped MySpace and LiveJournal and think swapping socials is like uprooting your whole life and starting over in a new town where no one knows you and you have no job.
That was my first film camera! Found one with three lenses and a vintage Canon carry case for $20 at an antique store!

Ha ha, lucky is exactly the word I would use. I happened to walk into the right camera store on the right day while I was visiting friends out of state. The stars must have surely aligned for this 👀
Honestly I nearly fainted when I first saw it, I’ve owned many film cameras and none have ever looked like they just came out of a box. Was a blast to use and my new favorite camera.

HP5 is definitely one of my favorite film stocks, it’s such a solid performer and I love the extra grainy toughness it has. I’ll definitely be trying to be around more often.
