+10% for additive 1.1x for multiplicative. multiplicative is also way more dangerous so should be used very sparingly

I'd argue additive is *also* dangerous, as you can end up scaling quite rapidly in both models, esp when keeping in mind how high a number must be to feel "worth it". Thanks for confirming though, I initially had "+10%" in the opening question but then realized that's quite transparent!
