And Trump did this with a town SUCCESSFULLY recovering from Rust Belt decay. He took a success story and turned it into a town riven by terror. He did it intentionally, to serve his own interests. He plans to do the same for America generally.

As Arendt points out in The Origins of Totalitarianism, anti-Semitism was never rooted out of the European psyche, and was waiting for the Nazis. It's still there. Just ask Jeremy Corbyn. Hatred and fear of immigrants is like that in the US. It's always under the surface, waiting for a fascist.

The goal of Trump, Vance, Putin and Musk (T,V,P & M) is to terrorize people of color, especially Africans, into not voting. They know if Africans and people of color turn out to vote, they will lose the election.
