Lazy late lunch earlier with Moo. She has adult portions but also has to have the colouring in! The boy was still in bed so it’s his fault he missed out!
Had to laugh, the lad over the roads mate has just passed his driving test. He’s just loudly revved up with his shit music blasting thinking he’s all cool and that, but massively crunched his gears and then stalled when he went to turn around!
Curled up with my blanket listening to the rain falling on the skylights and not wanting to move anywhere soon. I obviously will move though as I can’t let Mia walk home from school in it!
It’s not until next July but Dance World Cup is already getting stressful - flights, transfers and accommodation needs booking for 16 adults and 16 kids. I shall do the grown up thing and mute the conversation overnight in the hope someone takes it on and organises us all.
I think there’s just enough time for a nap before the school run and responsibilities.
Due to the high winds a neighbours heavily loaded recycling bin has been moved a few feet and the bin lid is now flapping away. It sounds like kids playing basketball, but I’m too lazy to go out to sort it for them. I’ll no doubt be moaning about it tomorrow (today).
I have concluded that tonight, I am not ok. On multiple fronts. So I’m going to sleep to see if that improves things. G’night Bluesky. Sweet dreams.
I feel like crap today. I’m guessing there’s a lurgy going round and it’s caught up with me. Dance run to do and then bed with my hot water bottle is the plan.
Home alone this afternoon and it’s very much needed.
