maybe there needs to be an organization like 'run for something' but 'call about something'
I mean something similar has happened in the organised drives to boycott companies because of various issues

A phone banking setup but instead of dialing registered voters people sign in and get a list of newsrooms and local elected officials from their region with suggested word tracks, bullet points, but not scripts so it’s harder to write off. If this doesn’t exist, maybe it would be helpful.
