Fair enough, but it's a big part of the problem. The way folks on the further left talk, enrages these people. To the point no mixed blood like me explaining the economic benefits of tax credits over tariffs, is gonna have much success.
Specifically the global part, as if India and China etc play no role in the environment's destruction. Then the paragraph of trying to reframe history with their own bias, which trails into oversimplification, to the point of ignorance. Makes the whole thing a net negative in swaying the other side.
The wording in that article certainly won't change any of their minds, and is pretty indicative of the kind of people they consider themselves to be pushing back against, and what keeps them out of reach, tbh.
