I know it’s a privilege, but I love seeing my newly laid off friends choose to take a break to pour into themselves before starting the job hunt.

Having enough money to survive is a real thing, but if folks were lucky enough to have a solid savings and severance package, I love them taking care of themselves and giving theirselves time to truly process everything and recharge before pushing forward

That’s a beautiful thing & we should work towards giving more people that opportunity. I love hearing stories like this.
