My setup: DF Youtube (Distraction Free) plugin to remove front page and recommended. Adblock to block all youtube thumbnails. DeArrow to remove clickbait from titles. Sponsorblock to skip the nonsense. RSS feed for my subscriptions instead of youtube's system. Makes the site almost usable.
