The big problem here is NIMBYs who are too desperate to protect their property values to let good policy implemented, which frustratingly includes a lot of liberals and leftists.

It really should be a wake-up call in blue states when NIMBYism causes voters to move to places like Texas, Florida, and Tennessee.
