and it's a fascinating game because it's the only one of the survival/extraction shooter type of games that is like... actually, boredom is fine. it's okay this can be tedious and i think that's fascinating. it's the reason the action hits so differently, because 95% of the time, the game's boring

i played a TON of DayZ mod when it first came out - made one of my most enduring friend groups in there - and while we've drifted to other games over time, we always come back to DayZ at least a couple of times a year

dayz has a mechanic where boots will get worn out as you run around in them and i cannot articulate why, specifically, but it is one of my very favourite parts of that game

they did such a great job with the character voices and the story has been a blast to listen to! genuinely a treat to have gotten to hear it come together, I’ve enjoyed it a lot

oh don’t worry about it even a little bit! seriously, it’s not a problem! it was a good callout and not your fault at all that it escalated. I just wanted folks to know the lore hadn’t changed and it was just a miss on my part. but genuinely, don’t stress.

anyways I cannot be any clearer the podcast team did an amazing job, they wrote an awesome story and captured the follower voices extremely well. lore mistakes are meant to be caught by us and sometimes they aren’t.

and to be clear just deleted it cause I don’t want anyone thinking the podcast team did anything wrong! but some folks might have read it that way.

deleted the thread about high dragon lore but to be clear - the podcast team did an excellent job, the miss on lore was on my end. lore is still the same.
