Nah this is my first, it's pretty much from the premier guys in Houston so I expected it to be high. I honestly just want to replace the compressor with one that uses modern freon since I can't find the r22 drop in this r438a is - and r22 is 900$ a pound now.

is there a leak somewhere? and yea prolly will have to replace with a new unit
