COVID is so much more than your average virus. I got it in June 2020, and had just the absolute weirdness of an array of symptoms. Told my doctor that I believed that the virus was capable of crossing the blood brain barrier, and unfortunately, I was right.

This post has gotten some naysayers in my mentions, and that’s fine. You’re all entitled to your opinions, but when people close to me have had strokes and diagnosed with diseases like Lupus that has been DIRECTLY linked to prior COVID infections, I’d rather err on the side of caution.
