What are some of the smaller effects of climate change? The little things we might experience. In British Columbia the stone fruit season was a bust due to a warm start of last winter followed by a cold snap. The fruit selection this year that is local was pretty much non existent.

Helene’s Cat 4 landfall gives the U.S. a record eight Cat 4 or Cat 5 Atlantic hurricane landfalls in the past eight years (2017-2024), seven of them being continental U.S. landfalls. That’s as many Cat 4 and 5 landfalls as occurred in the prior 57 years.

I worked on a shitty low budget tv show ~1m. And the show runners each had a condo rented for them. They were never in the city at the same time as they rotated every two weeks and flew back to LA every two weeks. They could of shared a condo and hardly seen each other.

It sounds like it may be introduced in BC. Rare in the Fraser Valley. I haven't seen it in the wild before that I know of. And I think we have a different variety that what is considered native in BC. More info here linnet.geog.ubc.ca/Atlas/Atlas....

Perhaps. I haven't seen it before either I think. My partner planted it and we live in the Kootenays. Then there is this big bee.
