When I remember "Leader of the Pack" I think of the version The Chipettes covered because that was the first time I heard it and sorry that's the real version of the song to me now.

I have been introducing my son (6) to Weird Al's versions of the last 40 years of pop music, sometimes (okay, mostly) to the complete exclusion of the (purported) "original". Sometimes they slip containment (e.g. Joan Jett, not mad), but so far so good.

No shame. I was a big Vangelis fan, but deeply loved the Chipmunks version of Chariots of Fire.
