It's wild to me that a sizable portion of their government income comes from foreign donations. Something like 75% of all charitable donations in Israel come from outside the country. They have the 29th highest GDP in the world!
I was recommended one of the teen Left Beyond books as a kid and remember reading the extremely Christian Zionist parts and going "....okay, that's a red flag." Of course I was Catholic and the first red flag was they had the current Pope standing with the anti-christ.
