Super jazzed by @alexxai.bsky.social#sfn2024 talk on VP as a driver of specifically non-homeostatic (above caloric need) feeding behavior; it's one of those things where I'm going to have to chew on & digest implications before I can come up with good questions.

I've been thinking a lot about the VP as a potential mediator of reward value in an unpredictable world, and this is an interesting & useful alt frame as I dig into what I think is happening in foraging contexts. I love it when meetings like #sfn2024 expose me to new perspectives I haven't seen!
