A game I'm working on with a friend in between other, bigger projects. In it your a demon bidding on human souls by offering them wealth, knowledge, and prestige.
Once is often enough. Sometimes it's not even a bad game, I'm just like "I'm never going to choose this game over the other games I have, I might as well get rid of it".
I'm planning on rotoscoping some photos for one of the board game projects I'm working on. I don't mind putting in the time but I really have *no idea* how it's going to turn out.
I sometimes post the same thing everywhere but reword it (or change some photos/info) so at least it's a bit different for people who follow me multiple places.
I found more board gaming people here than on Threads, though it's possible that's changed.
Okay, so I did compete in one tournament at WSBG. Didn't do too shabby! I love Fantasy Realms so playing in the Marvel version was a no brainer. I did well the first round but flubbed a hand in the final round 😭
It's really only horrific in Agricola because of how tight the board is. "I'll just bake bread to feed my family 🙂" "Oh someone else just took that spot. And it's the only one 🙃"
Currently at the World Series of Board Gaming! I'm not competing (I'm pretty sure I would get crushed), but there's a big open gaming area and it's a nice change of pace to play some games that aren't prototypes.
I like the idea. I think it would need a reason to justify it being a roll & write, such as the cards being customizable, but it has potential.
Nintendo suing Palworld over patent issues is... disheartening, to say the least. The fact you can patent game design concepts at all is miserable to me, but it's made so much worse by the fact that only huge companies can afford to file and defend them.
