18. Tag three peopleā¦ I have not paid attention to who has already done this or not, so if you're a writer and see this and would like to play, have at it! We want to hear from you, and listening to others' creative flow is always a good thing x
17. How do you get inspiredā¦ The usual well-fillingā¦Ā watch/read/play other media, get out in nature, people-watch, and study science, myth, artā¦ Get exposed to beauty and ideas and creativity in all forms.
16. Hardest part of starting a new projectā¦ I tend to have one part but not the other, like setup/worldbuilding/character but no plot. It stalls my project out until I crack the missing element or merge it with a WIP that has the missing bit.
15. Time of day you like to writeā¦ When I had energy and sleep, it was late night because everything is still and quiet then.
14. Average word count in a dayā¦ See previous answer lol. Anywhere between 0 and 3k. This question only applies to an ideal phase or situation, otherwise it will vary wildly.
13. Do you write every dayā¦ No, my work/life schedule does not allow it, let alone burnout in the mix. I don't think an every day rigor is necessary to keep the momentum or creative fire lit.
12. Can you read and write at the same timeā¦ Simultaneously? Or on the same day / time span? No and yes.
11. What author's style do you most admireā¦ Not sure I've read anyone enough to say definitively? I admire that Iain M. Banks always shot really high even if he missed sometimes. I'd rather shoot high with grand ideas than hit mid the majority of the time.
10. Ideal writing environmentā¦ Anywhere calm and quiet with limited responsibilities upcoming, and enough energy to devote to the task.
