I'm around September already and for me, it's up there for top 3 this year. It holds me better than Rebirth and isn't as bloated to me. Granted, I didn't love Rebirth as much as most (still one of the best games this year, though).

I loved how ridiculous Rebirth was at a lot of parts, and just generally how they handled everything storywise. Combat as well. But FF7 is also a super personal game for me so it’s definitely a case of it was gonna be top tier for me no matter what.
