In one of the more recent innovations in my life, I'm going to try 2 pairs of trousers on before ironing. I've no idea which ones fit. And I've lost my funeral scarf. I'll be turning up in something brighter, while journeying deep into hilly Cumbrian farming terrain. I've bought a big road atlas.
