Really looking forward to this ep - even the extent to which I am not fully on board with the thesis (at present), I am so tired of the dominant ideology that amounts to “lottery winner recommends waking up at 5am to play lottery”
I argue that everything is luck, all the way down. Everything we experience and everything we don’t. Every feature of our world and our selves, from our circumstances of birth to the values and beliefs we espouse. It's 100% luck. Properly taught, this is a liberating insight not a harmful one.
