Let me introduce you to this thing called NHS waiting lists. Or the lack of dentists. Or a chart on train punctuality. Are all those v quantifiable elements 'utter bollocks'? Maybe the comfortable middle class don't notice them as much, I don't know. 🤷♂️

Where have you been since about 2009 Sheila, things are progressively getting worse, middle class people are now facing an inability to live "comfortably" and marginalised people are facing even worse challenges than ever before. And no politicians want actual change.
No actually it's not. Your statement is broadly correct, but the margins have widened immensely at the lower end and narrowed at the top. There are many many more marginalised by poverty and many fewer comfortable middle class. For most people life is much worse than it was 15 years ago.
