Jeremy Adams is personally not a writer that excites me and Arthur getting water powers is not very interesting. I hope the book is good though, but I don't think aquamarine needs a safe run right now. He needs something epic.

I think he's a good writer, but a very archtypical one that rarely breaks the mould, or really puts a character in new situations and status quos, his Flash run was fun but it was clearly an exercise to get Wally back on track, it's good but Spurrier Flash is more what I go for tbh

100 percent agree, in the current climate of big swings and dramatic reinventions in Absolute and Ultimates being so successful and awesome, giving mermaid man a power buff ain’t it.
