This 1978 #TOTP has been a tough watch so far.

Tremendous idea. A battery-powered valve amp would be perfect. I did also see someone suggest a platter to go over the existing one to support a 12” record. They argued the platter would be the same size as any 12” record you would bring and would therefore not take up additional space.

I did see someone online who had 3D printed a headshell capable of carrying a Nagaoka cartridge. An MP110 or similar. Plus a shim to adjust the tracking weight.
