How long it takes to get carbon monoxide poisoning depends on too many factors to get into it for messaging purposes. In a small home someone may die faster. In a large home someone may die slower. Either way, people are dying and generators shouldn't be running indoors or even close to homes.

Agree. I’m apt to believe the CPSC implicitly but I look at this & think “really? how could one petrol fueled motor produce more CO than so many other petrol fueled motors?” It’s counterintuitive, so you need to acknowledge that & explain.
