As an IT(ish) person, married to a midwife, I'm 99.9% certain this will happen once the NHS starts procuring IT in a manner that incorporates maternity services' use-cases from the start, rather than leaving it to roll-out to find they've got a bunch of requirements the shiny new IT can't meet.

Well if the "maternity services" people refuse to engage in the requirement gathering and business analysis. Sorry had a flash back to something I was involved in back in 2015 and not involving maternity 😜

My current GP surgery doesn’t use the same service provider as the NHS app so there’s information on that app until I moved house in 2022. My consultant uses neither the NHS app provider nor my GP service provider so the app is also unaware of an NHS operation I’ve got coming up soon.Almost useless.
