But making significant changes to writing and production by bringing in outsider superfan types is trying to play to a crowd that has no expertise in production and will gravitate towards more of the same. As well as several fandoms showing their ass a long culture war lines. So I'm very distrustful
It's as you say: shoes should be made by cobblers, textiles by weavers, boats by shipwrights, and films by filmmakers. I think I understood your original post to have a different extent though.
