The paint job will based on 105th Tercio Upland Grenadiers Regiment to referencing back to the legendary Ollanius Piers. This character will be part of one of my Inquisition Warbands, where they will likely sacrifice themselves in the name of the Emperor and go out in a blaze Volkite glory 3/3
I decided to name this character Ollanius Peris as their load-out was originally based on Ollanius Piers and I now realise the mini's mask is a great representation of the Ollanius Pius Myth, as this character could be anyone, their identity being less important than their deeds. 2/3

Finally I ended up using foam to shape the rocks, adding texture using PVA, rocks and flock (which caused the green colouration) which also protects the foam from paint. I also cut the center out of the base to try and sell the effect of the space under the rocks being bottomless.
I eventually settled on the concept of rock pillars. I first tried to use layers of cardboard but due to its flimsy nature it didn't quite look right.
- Finally I started working on the first 10 of 20 Squigs before realising I'd probably need to paint the insides of the mouths as well and taking some of them apart again I'll probably be taking a short break from the Goblins and Squigs and work on some smaller projects next. #warhammercommunity
- Put together some Squig Snufflers and eggshelled them - Assembled the Loonking and gave him some additional eggshell embellishments as well #warhammercommunity#gloomspitegitz#squigs
