If you served honorably in uniform, you’ve already done more than almost anyone else walking around America. And one thing I learned in my time in uniform is that there is always some other individual, or unit out there that is tougher and more elite than you are. So have some humility.
Wish I could say the mushrooms were foraged but my wife got them at the farmer’s market. The tenderloin, though, was from the two deer I shot and butchered last fall!
