I’ve been saying since the beginning that I think polling is now broken in favor of republicans. They got so burned by 2016 and 2020 that they’ve skewed in the other direction to account for shy Trump voters, which is why all the 2022 and since polling has been so far off the other way

I don't think its broken in favor of Republicans. I think assessments were made to catch the Trump votes they missed - right as the enthusiasm behind Trump started to deflate.

Moreover, the “here’s what the standard factors should indicate” re: economy and incumbency are completely out the window. None of them matter. This election is totally off the map as far as precedent
