The areas affected include... Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to 20 nm west of Dry Tortugas out 20 nm... Gulf of Mexico from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out to 5 fathoms... Gulf of Mexico including Dry Tortugas and Rebecca Shoal Channel... Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and beyond 5 fathoms... At 1049 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected an outflow boundary, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This boundary was located along a line extending from near Smith Shoal Light to Ellis Rock Light to 7 nm southwest of Cosgrove Shoal Light, and was moving northwest at 25 knots. A wind gust of 33 knots was reported at Sand Key at 1000 PM as the boundary moved through. Locations that will be affected include... Rebecca Shoal Light, Halfmoon Shoal Light, Marquesas Keys, Twenty-Eight Foot Shoal Light, Smith Shoal Light, Cosgrove Shoal Light, and Ellis Rock Light.
