SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

As of 5 AM EDT, the center of Hurricane Milton was located along the

West, with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph. Milton is moving to the
northeast near 18 mph and this general motion is expected to continue
today, followed by a turn toward the east tonight. On the forecast
track, the center of Milton will move away from Florida and to the
north of the Bahamas today.

The Tropical Storm Warning has been discontinued for all of the
Florida Keys. A Small Craft Advisory has been issued for all of the
Keys coastal waters.

Major saltwater flooding of 2 to 3 feet above ground level, or mean
higher high water, is ongoing in the Bayside communities of the Upper
Keys, and will persist into this evening, with little relief during
low tides. Saltwater flooding around 2 feet above ground level will
remain possible this morning along the Bayside of the eastern Middle
Keys, including Long Key and Layton. A Coastal Flood Warning remains
in effect for the Middle and Upper Keys. Minor to moderate saltwater
flooding of 1 to 2 feet above ground level in the lowest spots will
remain possible in the Gulf side communities of the Lower Keys this
morning, and a Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for that area.

Breezy west winds this morning will continue to decrease during the
day, and only a slight chance of showers is expected with no heavy
rainfall forecast.
