Going out in public always wears me out because there's too much going on and I just have to mask and not react most of the time to make it out without issues. The only place I'm comfy going out to is my local dollar store that keeps the music they play to a duller roar than most.

This is why the only "fixed" I'll except in fanon work is Fixed!AU, which basically rewrites canon to fit either a more logical or more emotionally nourishing series of events. I've done it with Skyrim fanfictions, it should just be a common AU type like modern or (ugh) omegaverse.
Meltdowns and shutdowns aren’t behavioral problems. They are responses to overwhelming stress and our needs being violated and/or not met. #ActuallyAutistic humans need understanding, not discipline.
This is why I refer to R1 and L1 as the bumpers and R2 and L2 as the triggers. It makes more sense in my brain as "ah, the right bumper button" or "oh, the left trigger button" instead of having to remember with Battleship coordinate I need to hit to shoot the monster trying to rend me into viscera.
I've said it before and will continue to speak about it. The world just wants the disabled population to quietly disappear/die out so they don't have to accommodate for people they see as having less value because they aren't functioning gears. This is the norm at this point and it's disturbing.
