i was writing a paper on a Barnett Newman piece bc i wanted to critique it for being 1-dimensional, and at some point it just CLICKED and I fell in love with that work and so much other modern art. The feeling of standing in front of these is so different than observing it in a book!
I got an opportunity to do this years ago (but with a camper van) and it was definitely a lifetime highlight for me. Living on the road long term is extremely cool on its best days

No way, i didn't realize Boulder has streets like this! Im in the evergreen area and i want shit like this so BAD. Any weekend day with good weather involves hundreds(?) of cyclists riding thru our canyon, and theres been some very horrifying close calls recently.
