When someone has been stalked, harassed, and doxxed as often as I have been I see it as a kind of preemptive self defense. Like locking your doors or having your car keys in hand. There's no direct threat but better safe than sorry.

Maybe I'm an outlier here, but I like knowing who has me blocked not for any sort of weird self harm thing, but because in my experience if someone has decided I'm worth blocking often they decide I'm worth harassing as well and I simply want to block back before their brain worms make that leap.

Yeah if my partner shaves or gets a haircut it takes my brain a couple days to get the new look ingrained. Voices are my main go to for recognizing people. All that makes drawing faces in art a real big challenge. I got decent at hands before I ever got ok at faces.

So most of you probably don't know this. I am face blind. Its not like everyone walks around without a face, but I lack the ability to snap recognize human faces the same way humans lack the ability to snap recognize an animals face. You can tell them apart with a little study but thats it.
