It’s after six and I’ve got the entire Forum and Markets of Trajan to myself. (Open until 7:30 PM). I feel like a Senator or something after a plague.

Jetlag getting me out of bed at 0530 to walk down to the Forum and then to the Coliseum before it opened is the nicest thing its ever done for me. Definitely felt like I had the Coliseum to myself.

Are there cats?

A few years ago, jetlag had me walking around the Parthenon at 10pm at night. It was great seeing it lit up with very few others walking around.
