I agree with most of this but: car donettes with a latte and a Stephen King book when it’s rainy and you’ve just escaped a Social Thing and the heater is warm are a special kind of heaven.
I’m not a “Disney adult” or anything like that but after acquiring two children and seeing the package prices I get the appeal of Disney vacations

People who take calls on speakerphone on public transit, or worse, in the restroom. Leaving advertising stickers (“now a major motion picture! Intel Inside!”) on things. Clothes or accessories that exist only to blare the company’s logo: GUESS! LV! NIKE! Vanity license plate frames. CROCS.
I used to be snobbish about cruises, but then I went on one as someone with chronic fatigue in a wheelchair and now I love love love them. They’re crowded and expensive enough already, though, so I won’t try to convince anyone.

Fair, but wearing shoes in the house is not a minor issue. It’s unsanitary — and impolite if one is a guest. (House shoes are obviously a diff. issue.)

People are boggled that I, a 40-something-year-old native Californian, have only ever visited Disneyland once and it was when I was 7. (And I didn't care to go back!) I went to Disney World once when I was 16. That was fine. I know parks make people happy but I can't fathom going yearly.
