Thanks to modern day spam, I get a phonecall, email, or text notification about once every 15 minutes. Because that's impossible to manage, I've missed doctor's appointments, missed paying bills, and I ghosted my auto mechanic for 2 days because he used his personal cell to call me back.

Don’t even tell me about actual mail! I’ve missed bills simply because I probably threw them out with the piles of junk I get!
