the way we as people are so capable and willing to ignore injustice in favor of feeling comfortable is depressing 😨

recognizing the fact that some people feel they must ignore + compartmentalize injustices happening before them in order to remain sane/relatively happy + that being an unfortunate commentary on the state of our country/world is, again, also depressing.
