I think a lot of the optimism presented by a Harris presidency is the idea that she is a craven coward who will run from a sufficiently unpopular policy instead of shackling herself to israel for ideological reasons like Biden or Trump's evangelical handlers. But I don't know if that'll be true.

That is literally the reason I am mildly optimistic about Harris re:Israel but anyone saying it with any degree of confidence is a sucker imo

The Uncommitted voting bloc has also been pretty clear that they have specific demands Harris would need to meet before they join in the liberal enthusiasm. Which is at least encouraging. The dems don't just get to be forgiven by the people actually paying attention to them.
