Destroying someone's mobility aid meets the legal definition of assault.
Yep. And yet. The airlines are notorious for breaking chairs. There have beers real high-profile deaths due to custom chairs broken via airlines. And as hard as it is for those of us with relative stability - it’s even harder for y housed disabled people to live without their mobility aids.
