But promoting the war between the Israel gov and the Hamas as genocide is totally wrong. I live in 🇩🇪 and my grandfathers did a genocide. This is not the case here. Strong disagree!
Yet the genocide apologists & whataboutery are still pretending it’s not when genocide scholars are calling it that. PSA: It did not start in October 2023, that’s a deflection. The ethnic cleansing plans of Palestinians are in the Balfour Doctrine from over a century ago, 1948 Nakba & ongoing since.
10 is wrapped in there, too (and usually is, because the revision of the narrative creates the real-time permission structure as well as the post-genocide memory manipulation). :(
