I read this one about an English accountant that has some kind of monster after him (bad consulting gig?). They only vanquish it because this is goofy but know-his-science dutch guy knows his shit. Hero does lose his smart & awesome wife tho, because he keeps her in the dark. Misogyny kills. 😉🤦
