Children’s lives in the UK are changing. They are becoming shorter in height. More of them are going hungry than they were a few years ago. Recently, more have died each year than they did a few years ago. Increased poverty, more destitution & the effects of ongoing austerity are the clear culprits.

It's disgusting and *everyone* elected or appointed to the Houses of Parliament should be ashamed of themselves. They have allowed us to descend into a modern capitalist's version of feudalism.

THis is what the Conservatives promised - a return to victorian values: child labour, poverty, reduced life-spans, poor people staying in their places, health and education only as provided by charity. It doesn't need to be like this.

A condemnation of our society.

Quality of life is probably notably lower too. Britain .... what can you say. What an utter needless shame.

What a catalogue. So shameful on the UK & the Tories in particular. Gordon Brown expressed horror at the increase in child poverty & use of food banks, a few years ago I recall. But hey, blame the boat people 🤬 I hate the Tories & the right wing press.
