My partner had a similar MRI date. Called (Toronto) hospital and asked to be put on a wait list for cancelled appointments. Also said they would be happy to go in overnight. Was seen within two weeks.

I agree; being clear you are available overnight will move things along. You might also check back with the Dr who requisitioned the MRI to see if they agree with the wait.

Absolutely concur with this - especially telling them you are fine with overnight (if you are!) Also agree with others recommending emergency room because this does sound like an emergency!
