Also, now having read it, that is truly the most horrifying way to (spoilers:) have someone contact you about your car's extended warranty.
I love reading these! You're so good at them ^^
You deserve a great day too ^_^
Thank you, today was a good day for me to hear this <3
Yeah, that's wild. Wasn't it an AI chat bot that learned to be megaracist after talking to people on the Internet for less than an hour? I'd love to hear nanowrimo's explanation.
I loved this so much <3
Fascinating, thanks for sharing. It's as interesting to see how the US relationship with Russia has changed (the Soviet Union is lauded in its comparison to fascism) as it is to see how human nature hasn't changed. I find it hard to blame people for not initially believing the crimes at Dachau.
So true, you really have to "own it" in the likely situation that people will hold you in disdain sometimes. I have still not revealed to anyone in my offline life that I'm a furry, but at this point I consider it interest in my "you couldn't tell? See? We're just normal people too" account.
I totally can see that. It was relatively easy to find "my place" as a furry once I started looking, whereas I struggled for years otherwise, and relationships can appear less substantial when they're easy to find. I imagine it is hard to understand until you've experienced a friendship that way.
