Ah, that "Break down into little tasks" trick, works for me, too. I wish ADHD brainhacks were easily transferrable/universal to other ADHD folks. ;.; Being able to wheel around on my brain after I start the first subtask and going "HAHA, FUCKER, YOU STARTED THE WHOLE TASK, NOW YOU MUST FINISH IT"

... it is vaguely annoying that we have to develop methods to trick our own brains, but I suspect this is one of the reasons why I seem to have a good instinct for teaching: because I've already had to pick apart how MY brain works and is perceiving things, so I can sometimes figure out other ways.
