Why am I constantly fighting the almost supernaturally-charged need to pick up acorns
That said, I'm on Mastodon too and it's been great as a slightly more personal space (though I've shied away from being too "diary-like" on social media for a long time now), but god damn if I don't miss having a space to wax poetic about TIE Interceptors and how much I hate Ree-Yees.
But also a lot has changed since then. I realized that my humor is frequently only for me. I had a much larger group of friends on Twitter (that also included some real life friends). I also realized that I don't need to shit every thought I have into someone else's eyes.
Damn when I was on Twitter like four years ago I used to spout off the dumbest shit and now over here I'm like... afraid to post or something? What's that about???
Funny how Capital-G Gamers complain if their framerates dip below 120 meanwhile the average FFXIV enjoyer is like "I miss my low-poly grapes"
