I've dabbled in Resident Evil games before, but 7 is the one that made me fall in love with the series! (I also think it's the best, don't hurt me)

Big agree: best and most contained story, super rememberable cast who all get a lot of screen time, best dlc I've ever seen, great combat, and the location was peak.

I bought The Witcher 3 on a whim and it wound up being my GOTY 2015. I only played a bit of the PS5 version so I'm overdue for a full replay.
