I know intellectually that everyone dies, but I'm 56 and literally no one that I've personally known has died, so sometimes I let my daydreams take over and I imagine I have a life force super power and just knowing me will keep you alive forever.

This genuinely can't be true.

Gosh you are incredibly fortunate. I'm 52 and have known a great number of people who've died throughout my life. Great and grand parents now all gone. Many others from old age, from illnesses, car accidents, from suicide. First I remember with clarity was suicide of close family friend. I was 12.
